The annual SPARC Picnic will be held on 9/11/22 at Sam Lewis State Park in Wrightsville.

We will eat around 1:00pm. The club will supply Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and all that goes along with that. We ask those that want to, to bring a side dish or dessert. Not required. We had quite a bit of excellent food last year to go around. This is the same location as last year and we have the large pavilion on the hill overlooking the river. Lots of area for the kids to pay and to put up antennas for our POTA activation. The POTA activation will start a little earlier and we invite all to give it a go. We’ll be set up for SSB and CW and will operate under the club callsign. Being the hunted station is a lot of fun.

By signing up, you let us know how much food to buy. We dont want to run out and we dont want to buy a bunch of food that will be wasted. I hope to see you all there, it will be a good time as always. Rain or shine, we’re in a pavilion.
